Racine - Geneva Williams Schneider went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2011.Geneva was born in Creston, Iowa September 29, 1920 and grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. Following Bible College she went as a missionary to Ethiopia in 1951. In 1953 she married Alan Schneider and they served for 30 years with S.I.M. in several African countries. Three children were all born and grew up in Ethiopia: Susan (Tim) Bolter of Racine; Daniel (Joan) Schneider, missionaries in Ethiopia; Janet (David) Gibbon of South Carolina. Geneva has eleven grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Brown and two brothers, Gilbert (Ina) Williams; Bob (Joan) Williams all of Des Moines, Iowa. She has been preceded in death by one brother and his wife, Clyde and Lois Williams and one brother-in-law, Millard Brown. A memorial service will be held at Racine Bible Church, 12505 Spring Street, on Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.
