Racine- William Arthur Amend, 85, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Wednesday, August 15, 2012.Bill was born in Racine on July 19, 1927 to Arthur C. and Agatha (nee: Wheeler) Amend. He graduated from St. Catherine's High School and was employed at Young Radiator until his retirement. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside Service of Committal will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Kinzie Avenue on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 1:30 p.m.
