RACINE – Wayne R. Kuehneman, 69, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Wayne was born in Racine on September 20, 1946 to Russell L. and Ruth J. (nee, Oberst) Kuehneman. He married the former Caroline Spodick, celebrating 49 years of marriage. Wayne retired from SBC Ameritech in 1994. To Wayne, his family was the most important thing in his life. Survivors include his wife, Caroline Kuehneman; and his children, Shelley, Karen and Kevin. Wayne is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Wayne will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Racine Zoological Society.
