Obituary
He was born in Racine to the late Walter J. and Lillian (nee: Bronson) Urban II.
On May 4, 1963 Wally married Marilyn A. Visek. They were blessed with six children and 61 years of marriage.
In his younger years, Wally worked in a machine shop and owned an auto body shop. He was also employed with Twin Disc and Wiscon Products. Most recently, he was an auto sales manager until his retirement. He loved boats and cars; being outdoors and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marilyn Urban; his children Walter "Beau" (Margery) Urban IV, William Urban, Leeann Barnes, Robert "Bobby" (Kelly) Urban, Patricia "Patty" (David) Michielli and Diane (Jeff Schmidt) Pinnow; his 12 grandchildren Lorrena, Beau, William, Andrew, Amanda, BreAuna, Zachary, Blake, Austin, Lilly, Hanna and Tyler.
In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his sister Leanne in infancy.
A memorial service for Wally will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. at Purath-Strand Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
