RACINE- Wallace W. "Wally" Goetsch, 89, passed away at Ascension Healthcare- Spring Street Campus on Saturday, April 3, 2021.Wally was born in Marathon City, WI on June 2, 1931 to Edwin and Anna (nee: Vaubel) Goetsch. He married Nancy Gehrke on November 15, 1952. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2005. Wally served his country in the United States Army. He was employed at General Motors until his retirement. After retiring he worked part time at the auto auction. Wally enjoyed going camping, doing word search puzzles and going to the casino. Wally is survived by his children, Thomas, David (Colleen), Gary (Deborah) and Steven Goetsch, grandchildren Karli, Greg, Nicholas and Alexandra and 2 great granddaughters Sidney and Kylie. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wally was preceded in death by his son Gerald, brothers Dale, Eddy, Russell and Ralph and sister Rosella.A visitation for Wally will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Due to the ongoing pandemic masks are required.
