Racine – Virginia "Bydzie" Keshdoian Kirkorian Musurlian, 95, passed away at Willowcrest Care Center in South Milwaukee on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Bydzie was born in West Pullman, IL on June 6, 1916 to Avedis and Hyganoush (nee, Sarkissian) Kishdoian. She married Harry Musurlian on September 1, 1934 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1979. Bydzie was a member of St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and a charter member of St. Mesrob's Women's Guild. Survivors include her sons, Arthur Musurlian and Nubar D. (Osa) Musurlian; grandchildren, Timothy (Susan) Musurlian and Amy (Matt) Johanson; step-grandchildren, Peter (Jennifer) Christensen, Joshua Christensen and Patrick Christensen; great-granddaughter, Lauren Musurlian; and eight step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, John (Alice) Kirkorian, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bydzie was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, George Kirkorian, Abraham (Josephine) Kirkorian; and sister and brother-in-law, Rose (Hatcher) Samarian. A Celebration of life and home going of a dearly beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 4605 Erie Street, on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Yeprem Kelegian officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mesrob Church and/or St. Nerses Seminary endowment funds. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Willowcrest Care Center for all of their patience, care and compassion shown to Bydzie.
