Born in Milwaukee to Hans & Fern (Poole) Knoff. She spent all of her early life in Milwaukee. She graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Harvey Groth. They spent 61 wonderful years together while raising 5 children. She spent the majority of her adult life being a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid bowler and loved to travel. She was fortunate enough to have visited most of this country as well as places like Ireland, Australia, & Jamaica. But she was always most happy being home near the ones that she loved and cared for. She is survived by her loving husband Harvey. Children, Colleen, Kevin, Maureen (Dudley) Oates, Mark and Michael (Connie). Grandchildren, Zachary, Brady, Matthew, Kathryn, Tyleigh, & Megan. Step Grandchildren, Christina (Rich), Nic, Meree, & Jacklyne. And 6 Step Great Grandchildren. As well as her Brother Hans (Inge) Knoff and Sister in Law Florence Groth. And special family friend James DeVargas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Merle (Harold) Evans, Brothers Harlan (Bernice), LaVerne (Betty), Arden (Audrey) Knoff. Brothers/Sisters in Law William (Winnie), Esther (Harry), Harold (Althera), & Orland. Per her wishes there will not be any services held. There will be a private family internment held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
