Racine – Virginia L. Abrahamson, 88, passed away August 3, 2014. Virginia was born in Racine on December 1, 1925 to Charles and Ida (Hopf) Krueger. She married Kenneth F. Abrahamson on November 16, 1946 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2003. Virginia was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Most recently Virginia resided at Alexian Village, Milwaukee.Survivors include her daughters and son in law, Lois (Emyr) Phillips and Linda Bendix; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Alison (Bryan) Bukowski; and two great-granddaughters, Lillian Grace and Harper Rose Bukowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, and brother, Robert. A service for Virginia will be held in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5600 Holy Cross Road, on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
