RACINE – Vartouhe "Rose" Abagian,89, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Rose was born in Damascus, Syria on June 16, 1928. She married Hamayag "Mike" Abagian. He preceded her in death along with her son, Arthur Abagian. Rose is survived by her son, Ralph Abagian; daughter, Nora (Richard) Rohrer; grandchildren, Nathan Rohrer and Nicholas (Heather) Rohrer; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Ella, Taylor, Layla and Nanook. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
