Racine – Valerie C. Sommers, 61, passed away at her home on Monday, January 28, 2013. Valerie was born in Milwaukee on February 17, 1951 to Stanley and Eleanor (nee, Romanski) Strelecki, Sr. She married Robert F. Sommers. Survivors include her husband, Robert F. Sommers; daughter, Cherie (James) Albright; grandchildren, Jennifer, Samantha and James Albright; brother, Stanley (Karen) Strelecki, Jr. and their family; and sister, Patricia (Vern) Solfest and their family. Funeral services for Valerie will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
