Obituary

Racine – Tomislav Obradovic, 75, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Milwaukee on Thursday, February 16, 2012. Tom was born in Velika Plana, Yugoslavia on January 15, 1937 to Milan and Draga Obradovic. He served in the Yugoslavian Army in the Military Police. Tom married the former Savka Kovacevic. He was employed by Racine Steel Castings and retired from MacWhyte Wire Rope. Tom was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church on Braun Road. He loved soccer, volleyball and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and his close friends. Survivors include his wife, Savka Obradovic; sons, Nebojsa Obradovic and Sasha (Angie) Obradovic; grandchildren, Franni, Gracie and Michael Tempesta; and his sister, Milica Krizan. Tom is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Draga Obradovic; and sister, Rada Donic In keeping with Tom's wishes, private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Leukemia Society. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Michael P. Mullane and the staffs at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints and Kindred Hospital for all of their care and compassion.
