RACINE- Todd A. Chaptman, whose life was marked by good humor and devotion to family, died Sunday May 14 at age 60.A lifelong resident of Caledonia, Todd surpassed expectations and overcame many challenges with characteristic persistence and courage. He took pride in his 24 years of service as a maintenance man at the Caledonia Town Hall. He enjoyed local politics and antiquing. Todd was also a past member of the Caledonia Jaycees and the county Democratic Party.For the past year, he lived at Home Harbor, where he enjoyed many friends.He is survived by his caring mother, Jean; his brother, Dennis; sister in law, Margaret; nephew Tim; nieces Ann and Kate and their families. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Eugene.A visitation for Todd will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Private interment will take place in Caledonia Memorial Park.
