Timothy J. GrossnickRacine- Timothy J. Grossnick, 70, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare with his wife by his side on Thursday, June 10, 2010.Tim was born in West Allis on September 3, 1939 to Frank and Hildegarde (nee: Ottowitz) Grossnick. He served in the United States Army. Tim was an inside salesman for Abrasive Distributors until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at home. Tim married Kathleen Jacobs in New York on September 1, 2000.Tim is survived by his wife Kathleen Grossnick; 2 daughters, Patricia (David) Fox and Stacy Rivera; grandchildren, Christopher Covington, Cameron Rivera and Ty Fox; brother in law William (Maureen) Jacobs; sister in law, Lorraine Jacobs and nephews, Michael, Sean and Patrick . He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his first wife Judith in June 1995, His parents and brother in law, Frank Jacobs.A Memorial Mass for Tim will be held at St. Mary's by the Lake Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stephan Stradinger officiating. Inurnment will take place in Highland Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials to the St. Mary's by the Lake have been suggested.
