RACINE – Thomas Eugene Eickhorst, 76, passed away at The Woods of Caledonia on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Tom was born in Racine on January 19, 1939 to Walter and Helen (nee, Macuthah) Eickhorst. He retired from American Motors/Chrysler after more than 30 years. Tom was preceded in death by Fran (Noll) Eickhorst/Simonsen, his first wife and mother of his surviving children, Sharon Johnson, Jim (Deb) Eickhorst and Linda (Robert) Houcutt; step children, Cathy (Bob) Tempesta and Larry (Nan) Smalley; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his mother, Helen Eickhorst; and brother, Jack Eickhorst. Tom is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and his second wife, Gertrude Smalley Eickhorst. A memorial visitation for Tom will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 1 p.m.
