Theresa P. Fink Racine - Theresa P. (nee, Beyel) Fink, 84, passed away at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center on Sunday, April 26, 2009. Theresa was born in Traunstein, Germany on June 28, 1924 to Kaspar and Theresa (nee, Praxenthaler) Beyel. She moved from Germany to Racine in 1957 to be near her sister, Philomena Foreman. Theresa married Joseph Fink. She was employed by High Ridge Hospital, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and spending time with her family. Theresa is survived by her husband, Joseph Fink; daughters, Gerda (Herbert) Knorr and Renate (Robert) Burch; and grandchildren, Sandra (Dan Bartelt) Knorr and Ryan Burch. Theresa is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Philomena Foreman. A memorial gathering for Theresa will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A private inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Safehouse Animal Shelter.
