Racine – Theresa Aaen, 60, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Terri was born in Waupaca, WI on March 23, 1951 to John and Erma (nee, Ahola) Glaeser. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Religious Education. Terri loved helping and serving people as a spiritual advisor. She was a devotee of Mother Amma. Terri was an accomplished artist and was a member of the Spectrum Art Gallery. She was a devoted sister, aunt and friend to many. Terri is survived by her lifelong friend and companion, Olav Aaen; twin sister, Toni (Dan) Glaeser-Giannotti; brother, Charles (Debbie) Glaeser; sister; Ida (Larry Matson) Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Sarah) Oberlander, Jennifer Oberlander, Angela (Jesse) Downs, Stephanie (Tyler) Wick, Brad Arnold and Ben Arnold; and great-nieces, and great-nephews, Noah Downs, Seth Downs, Mikayla Oberlander, Owen Oberlander and Eli Oberlander. Terri is also survived by special friends, Sherri Greer, Denise Zingg and many other close and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service for Terri will be held at St. John's Chapel at DeKoven Center on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Liz Huskey-Simmons officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at St. John's Chapel on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
