Ted (Theodore) Galizanski
May 29, 1964 – November 23, 2024
Ted lived life with a carefree ease; too smart for school in his younger years and too creative for the everyday normal life that others sought. He held true friends and close family in the highest regard. He worked hard, was competitive when we all played board games, cornhole or went bowling, had wit and a sense of humor and loved to fish. The love of his life was his wife Jan, whom he married December 19,1992. Ted recently said he started dying the day Jan passed away. We will always remember Ted with a smile in our hearts and sadness at his passing from this life too soon. Ted passed away in his home after a brief, private fight with pancreatic cancer. He is pre-deceased by his Wife, Jan (2010), his Mom, Marian (2019), and his Dad, Richard (1978). He is survived by his siblings: Heidi (Brandriff), Mary (Bonine), Sue (Oelkers), Mikaleen (Hauschildt), Charles Allyn, their families, and countless friends. Please join us in celebrating Ted's life, Saturday, December 14, 2024, 11:30am, Purath-Strand Funeral Home, 3915 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI. Ted's ashes will be sprinkled at his favorite fishing spots and a headstone placed with Jan's at West Lawn Cemetery. He will be thought of often and missed forever.
