Sturtevant – Teresa Ann Thoune, 63, passed away at Grand Prairie on Monday, December 12, 2011. Terry was born in Milwaukee on July 26, 1948 to Robert J. and Jane (nee, Drewek) Bartlein. She married Richard C. Thoune at Christ King Catholic Church in Wauwatosa on August 16, 1969. Terry was a wonderful Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. 'Ma' as she was called by Ashley and Taylor Jo. She cherished doing art projects and vacationing with them. Earlier, she was a secretary working for Barina and Schmidt Law Firm, Lutheran Chapel of the Cross, and St. Sebastian's School. Terry touched the lives of everyone she met and she was always great at remembering to send cards to people for all occasions. She will be deeply missed by all. My loving husband and devoted caregiver 'D'; my daughter, Tricia and her loving family, Gary, Ashley and Taylor Jo Moran. My parents and brother Matt for their love and prayers. My dear friend, Sandy Sus for her millions of cards, phone calls and prayers. Our up north friends, Dick & Pat Miller for showing us peace and love during tough times. My sister, Bert for all her silly monkey cards. Our friends at Konkapot Lodge in Bowler, WI who have been an inspirational good bunch of people sharing their families and keeping us busy doing different things in our lives… like an Indian Pow Wow! My entire family and parish have kept us in their prayers, and 'I'll put in a good word or two for all of you. Thank you and God bless!' Terry is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard C. Thoune; daughters, Tricia (Gary) Moran and Heather (Tom) Brehm; grandchildren, Ashley Angel and Taylor Jo Moran; and Paige and Parker Brehm; her parents, Bob and Jean Bartlein; brothers, Matt Bartlein, Mark (Kathleen) Bartlein, Luke (Sue) Bartlein and John Bartlein; sister, Roberta (Bill) Locker; brother-in-law, Bud (Nancy) Thoune and a very special uncle, Joe McGuire. Terry is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and special friends, Sandy Sus, Donna House, Becky Grimsrurd, Dick and Pat Miller, Friends at Konkapot Lodge, Friends at Killarney Kourt and all other special friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Bartlein; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Larry Thoune; and her nephew, Dustin Thoune. A memorial Mass for Terry will be held at St. Edward's Parish on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Memorials may be directed to the family who will be placing a memorial plaque at Holy Hill in Terry's memory. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Dr. Michael Mullane, his staff and all of Terry's caregivers, for all of their compassionate care.
