Sylvia Pat "Patty" HansenRacine- Sylvia Pat "Patty" Hansen, 76, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Tuesday, April 20, 2010.Patty was born in Racine on July 28, 1933 to Sylvio and Martha Jane (nee: Webster) Monfeli. She married William E. "Skip" Hansen on May 14, 1955. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2007. Patty worked in catering at the YMCA for over 25 years. She was an avid reader and wonderful baker. Patty enjoyed playing bingo and liked to go to Potawatomi. She also loved to make tie blankets for others. Patty is Survived by her children, Mark Scott Hansen, Mary Jane (Robert) Marks and Linda (James) Gray; grandchildren, Luke Marks, Veda Evans, Jamie Gray, Damion Gray and Kelsey Gray; great-granddaughter, Savannah; and her sisters in law, Billie Marie (Robert) Cote and Penny (Jim) Zaden. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Patty was preceded in death by her parents; brother in law Jackie Hansen and sisters in law Bonnie Gondert and Marilyn Fuller.According to Patty's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Patty will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Brown officiating. Private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services.
