Susan J. Furrer Racine - Susan J. Furrer, nee Peterson, 61, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Sue was born in Racine on August 28, 1945 to Elmer and Leona (nee, Bourgoin) Peterson. Sue married the Raymond C. Furrer in Racine on December 12, 1970. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2000.Survivors include her children, Timothy (Dawn) Furrer, Jennifer (David) Colby, Nicole (Kevin) Hughes and Kristen Furrer; grandchildren, Taylor, T.J. and Hunter; sisters, Delores Lochwitz, Joan (Thomas) Turner, Carol (Charles) Christensen, Mary Ellen (Steve) Williams, Diane Marchant and Christine Peterson. Sue is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday, July 30, 2007 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
