RACINE – Sue Pribula, nee Brtis, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Sue was born on July 22, 1920. On October 8, 1944, Sue married Paul Pribula at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Blue Island, IL. She was formerly an active member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church, participating in the church choir, mother's club, ladies aid and teaching Sunday School. She also belonged to the Blue Island Community Chorus and was a former member of the St. Francis Hospital Heart Club. Loving mother of Kathleen (Roy) Karpinsky and Paul Stephen (Laurel Rabschutz) Pribula. Cherished grandmother of Kristin (Dave) Elliott, David Karpinsky and John (Dawn) Karpinsky. Great grandchildren, Owen Karpinsky, Elizabeth Elliott and Emma Elliott. Dear sister of the late Stephen Brtis, late John Brtis, late Eleanor Miller, late Anne Zak Collins and late Bessie Brtis. Funeral services for Sue will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, corner of Erie and Kewaunee Streets, on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Blue Island, IL.
