RACINE – Shirley Ann Schmitz, 78, passed away at home on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Shirley was born in Milwaukee on April 19, 1936 to Alvin and Helen (nee, Young) Meyer. Beloved wife of Ronald D. Schmitz. Loving mother of Al (Lori) Zeitz, Elroy (Annette) Zeitz, Sherri Wuerker and Shane (Jennifer) Schmitz; cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Shirley is further survived by her three sisters; other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Shirley will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, December 3, 2014 at 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m.
