Racine – Shane A. Hill, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 26, 2015. Shane was born in Racine on June 15, 1976 to Shane J. and Nancy A. (nee, Proska) Hill. He graduated from Wm. Horlick High School, and attended Gateway Technical College and became a certified CNC Operator, last working at Caterpillar. Shane loved music, karaoke and cooking. He was a kind hearted individual; loved his friends and having fun. Survivors include his parents, Shane J. and Nancy A. Hill; sister, Tiffany (Marcel) Franz; maternal grandmother, Evalyn Proska; aunts, Sharon (Alex) Cacciotti and Sandra (Don) Massey; and his uncles, Edward (Pat) Proska, Jr., and Marvin Proska. Shane is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward Proska, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Earl and Lois Hill; his maternal great grandmother, Emma Halvorsen; and his aunt and uncle, Darlene and Jeff Leslie. A memorial service for Shane will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November, 3, 2015 at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. followed by the service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
