RACINE – Sara E. Hudec, 69, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Sara was born in Racine on October 5, 1947 to James and Elaine (nee, Ledwell) Woolrage. She married Dennis Hudec who preceded her in death. Sara retired from In-sink-Erator after more than 30 years. She loved her animals and was a co-founder of Orphaned Kanines. Survivors include her daughters, Sally Hudec and Heather Giacherio; grandchildren, Dennis Hudec and Mariah Hudec; sisters and brothers, Joan Bositter, David (Lynn) Woolrage, James (Joan) Woolrage and Dorothy (Rudolph) Primuth; and her beloved caregivers, Cheryl Horst and Jessica Bellgraph. Sara was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Shirley Woolrage; and her beloved pets, Tiger, Daisy, Littlebit and Lady. In keeping with Sara's wishes, private family services will be held. Inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
