RACINE – Rose Marie A. Weber, 74, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Rose Marie was born in Kenosha on October 24, 1941 to Lloyd and Alvina (nee, Krause) Belongia. She was a graduate of Wm. Horlick High School Class of '59. In 1960, Rose Marie married LeRoy Weber, celebrating 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2014. She was employed by In-Sink-Erator for over 31 years, retiring in 1997. Rose Marie loved to gamble, spending time at Potawatomi, playing slot machines, scratch offs and all types of card games with anyone, especially, Alex Shelton. She also loved her winter home, "snow birding" in Brooksville, FL. Survivors include her children, Michael J. (Lisa) Weber, Karen (Dave) Shelton and Patricia Weber; grandchildren, Jonathon Weber, Amanda (Peter) Deschler, Madison Shelton, Alexandria Shelton and Savannah Hamilton; her sister, Mary (Ed) Dubiel; and brother, Clyde Belongia. Rose Marie is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Belongia; and sister, Vina Thomas. A funeral service for Rose Marie will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 7 p.m. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Special thanks to all staff at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, including Dr. Mullane, Dr. Kennedy and especially Dr. Hoang who mom loved.
