South Milwaukee – Rose Gorske, 84, passed away at St. Luke's Southshore on Friday, September 14, 2012 Rose was born in Racine on November 6, 1927 to Artin and Nuvart (nee, Boyajian) Kalajian. She married Norbert E. Gorske in Crown Point, IN in 1957. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2000. Rose was a member of St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic church. She loved her Klondike bars, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Laura (Gary) Lawler and Richard (Sandra) Gorske; grandchildren, Jennifer (Alex), Amanda, Amy, Ellaina (Neal) and Alex; step-grandson, Jamie; and great-grandchildren, Kylie and Gabriela. Rose is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Kalajian; and brother, Sam Kalajian. Funeral services for Rose will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. with the Prayer Service at 6:45 p.m. Memorials may be directed St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.
