Obituary
Rose Marie was born in Milwaukee on December 25, 1928, to Bruno and Agnes (nee: Kaniewski) Koszewski. She was a longtime employee of General Motors. Rose Marie married Robert J. Childs, Sr. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1995. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, ceramics, stamping, numerous other crafts and working in her garden.
Rose Marie is survived by her children, Christine (Tom) Beyers, Catherine (Bob) Young, Cindy Anderson, daughter-in-law Jo Ellen Childs, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren and sister Bernice Alcorn of Virginia. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ciurro and sons Ronald Childs and Robert Childs, Jr.
Visitation for Rose Marie will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Wood National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to American Lung Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Charity of your choice have been suggested.
