On Sunday April 22nd, Ronald Ernest "Charming" Wellna made his last sarcastic comment at the age of 83. Ronald was reunited with his son Al in heaven. Ronald will forever be remembered by his wife Karen, his children Jon and Liz, and Susan and Scott, his grandchildren A.J. and Jamie, Sara and Avery, Kirsten, Ali and Matt, Sara, Marisa, four and a half great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends, especially his Tuesday and Thursday morning golf buddies.Ronald was a simple man. He enjoyed watching baseball, golf and every game, recital and school event that his children and grandchildren participated in. He was a world class pumpkin carver. He would always hug you so tight you could barely breathe. Even while his grandchildren were in their 20's he would offer to talk to our bosses, CEO's and managers just to make sure they knew how great we were and that they didn't deserve us. Ronalds heaven would be walking outside in 75 degree weather, chatting with Al while having a cup of coffee that is the perfect temperature and his tee time is in an hour. His life was a sentimental journey and he will be greatly missed. Honoring Ron's wishes, there will be a private burial ceremony on Wednesday April 25th in fond remembrance of a husband, father and grandfather.
