Racine- Ronald A. Kondrat, 64, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 6, 2011.Ron was born on September 5, 1946 in Hammond, IN to Anthony and Dorothy (nee: Szot) Kondrat. He graduated from Purdue University in 1969 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ron was employed as a Product Manager at Modine Manufacturing from 1972 until 1997. He had an interest in the Native American Culture and the history of the west. Ron enjoyed taking pictures and watching sports especially, baseball and Badger football. He also loved to travel. His favorite destinations were Arizona, Wyoming and Hawaii. Most importantly he was a proud and loving father and grandfather. Ron is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Tom) Rogers and Mya (Keith) Banaszynski; granddaughters, Bella (7) and Heidi (2) Rogers; sister, Susan (Scott) Dixon; nieces and nephews, Bethany, Jimmy, Elise and Jillian; and former wives, Janet Kondrat and Patricia Kondrat. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation for Ron will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Private interment will take place.
