RACINE- Ronald D. King, 62, passed away at Hospice House on Friday, April 17, 2015.Ron was born in Rockford, IL on January 16, 1953 to Charles King and Lois (nee, Northrup) Singer. He married Lori Ann (nee, Schaefer) King on July 9, 2005. Ron retired from CNH in 2004 and most recently was employed by Caterpillar. Ron was a fun loving, outgoing and down to earth person who accepted people for who they are. Ron and Lori did everything together. They traveled and vacationed throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.Survivors include his wife, Lori Ann King; children Taedra (Aaron) Snape and Ryan (Kristin) King; step-son, Jordan (Alli) Buth and Eric (Cassandra) Schaefer; grandchildren, Tehya, Destin, Sam, Anastasia, Anaya, Alicia "Baby Girl" and Masiela "Phat-Phat"; his sister, Charlene (Kenneth) Krych; nephew, Sean Ference and his daughter, Lily Ference; his best friends, Holly & Rich Snyder among countless other friends; and his dogs, Guelph and Ronnie. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Heather Ference; and his dog, Sophie.Funeral services for Ron will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from4 until 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.In honor of Ron the family asks that your wear a touch of green or a green ribbon.
