Obituary

Ronald C. Jarosz, 79, passed away at the VA medical center in Milwaukee, WI on March 19, 2018. Ron was born in Chicago, IL on October 24, 1938 to Florence Ryan (nee Pinkowski) and Chester Jaroszewski. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Ron was a painter for most of his life. Ron enjoyed playing cards with his brothers, uncle, brother in laws and friends. He loved fishing, watching sports and his scratch off lottery tickets. He loved spending time with his family but the biggest joy came from his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his children Athena Eklove, Michael R. Eklove, Ronald (Doree) Jarosz, and Kelly (Billy) Eklove. Grandchildren Michael A. (Beth) Eklove, Shannon (Marcus) Shellberg, Nick Eklove, Justin (Allyssa) Eklove, Kyle "Kylie" Eklove and Kaila Eklove and Anthony and Kristofer Jarosz. Great- grandchildren George, Cylus and Sterling and his sister Sharon Antonsen along with many other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolores, brothers Larry and Dennis, brother in laws Jimmy and Carl "Snookie" Antonsen and great grandson Noah Eklove-Menges. The family would like to thank the VA nurses on the 4th floor for taking such great care of our dad. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Services with be held April 7, 2018 at 11 am at St. Adalbert Cemetery 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles IL 60714. Family and friends should meet at the office and then proceed to the chapel. Immediatly following service, Ronald's three children(Athena, Ron and Kelly) would like to invite everyone to join them for lunch at the White Eagle Restaurant as a thank you for taking the time with them in paying your final respects to their father and remembrance of his life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ronald C. Jarosz's name to Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.
