Ronald J. Christman

Ronald J. Christman, 77, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Ron was born in Racine on December 7, 1948, to Richard and Mary (nee: Goossens) Christman. He graduated from Park High School in 1967. Ron was an ordinary man who worked hard all his life and cherished his family. He was employed throughout his lifetime at Piggly Wiggly, Lathrop
Furniture, Lincoln Lutheran of Racine and Ener-Con Builders. Ron was everyone’s handyman and could fix and repair just about anything. He enjoyed meeting up with the guys at Park Inn, watching NASCAR, pull tabs and trying his luck on lottery tickets. Most recently with his declining health he could be found sitting on his front porch and talking to neighbors and those walking by. He was always ready to offer his advice to everyone and anyone about what to do and how to do it. He was a huge presence in everyone’s life and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Connie Christman, children Steven (Lynne) Christman and Carrie (JP) Miller, and grandchildren Alex and Andrew Christman and Molly Miller (and his great-granddog Max). Ron is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mary, sister Carol Faulkner and brother Gary Christman.

Per Ron’s wishes cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
