Robin Earline Calloway, 65, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.Robin was born on February 26, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Earl and Hattie Mae (nee, Conner) Calloway. She graduated from Lucy Flower Vocational High School and later went on to work as a computer programmer, working at the Sears Tower for 11 years. Robin was the matriarch of the family. She loved music and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, teaching them to pray. Robin loved to spend her time reading the bible and her favorite book "Honey, I Love & Other Love Poems."Survivors include her the father of her 3 children, Samuel C. White; her 3 sons, Donta White, Robert White and Christopher White; 10 grandchildren, Prince Robert, Noriel, Cris-Angeliz, Dante, Angel, Arrianna, Nevin, Vivianna, Michael and Apollo; sisters, Ollilian "Poochie" Ross, Mary Elizabeth Calloway; and her brothers, Jerome Conner and Antone Calloway, good friend Brenda McGee and special cousin Sherri Russell. Robin is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Willa "Puddin" Ross and Terry Conner, nieces Shafray Calloway and Jamehsia Conner, and nephews Kawanis Conner and Anthony Williams.Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family for a visitation at the Purath-Strand funeral home on Saturday 3/13 morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
