Racine – Robert J. Reichard, 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 23, 2010. Bob was born in Milwaukee on October 15, 1946 to John A. and Grace (nee, Olski) Reichard. He married the former Susan R. Vesel on June 9, 1973. Bob served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Bob and Sue traveled extensively throughout the world. He earned a Degree in Fine Arts and enjoyed, painting, sketching and sculpting, but most of all he loved "The Kids", Scarlett and Rhett. Bob is survived by his wife, Susan R. Reichard; mother, Grace Reichard; sisters and brother, Mary (John) Andre, Bill (Sandy) Reichard, Linda (Chris) Schoenbeck and Karen (Rick) Schertzl; and sisters-in-law, Sally (Dave) Bosanko and Cindy (Norm) Christianson. Bob is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 7 p.m. Interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
