Robert John KisterRacine- Robert John Kister, 69, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Bob was born in Milwaukee on April 6, 1942 to John Kister and Margaret Rucktenwauld. He served in the United States Navy. Bob was employed at Allen Bradley Corporation. Bob was an avid banjo player. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, painting and woodworking. Bob was a member of Racine Assembly of God Church. He was a man of few words, but what Bob said was important; especially his relationship with the Lord Jesus.He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kister; children; Scott Kister, Ethan (Michelle) Kister, Jay (Karen) Perlberg and Kayne (Celesta) Perlberg; grandchildren, Scot Izzy and Hanna Perlberg and Elijah and Amelia Kister; brother, Joel (Marge) Kister; mother in law, Mary Haggarty; sister in law, Kate (Ben) Johnson and brothers in law, John and Patrick Haggarty. Bob is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Robert will be held at Racine Assembly of God Church, 1325 Airline Road on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Scott Brownell and Rev. Steve Nickel officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to Royal Family Kids Camp have been suggested.
