Robert E. 'Bob' Jensen Racine- Robert E. 'Bob' Jensen, 74, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his residence on Sunday, March 2, 2008.Robert was born in Racine on March 16, 1933 to George and Mabel (nee: Sannes) Jensen. He attended Fratt, McKinley and graduated from Washington Park High School. Robert served his country in The United States Air Force. He retired from Western Publishing after over 40 years of employment. Robert liked to spend time watching auto racing and Packers football. He loved baking for his family and special friends, who will miss his muffins and cookies. He also enjoyed painting and traveling to Mexico.Robert is survived by his wife Yvonne Wingreen-Jensen; children, Joleen (Doug) Layman, Janice Osborne, Shelia (Hans) Herfurth; Step Children, Tom Wingreen, Linda (Ken) Storm, Mark (Patti) Wingreen, Scott (Linda) Wingreen, and Laura Glozier; grandchildren, Gwen (Phuong) Nguyen and Matthew Osborne; 13 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Leonard Jensen, Alice Pederson, George (Donna) Jensen, Howard (Margie) Jensen, and Bill (Maryann) Jensen; and sister in law, Joyce Jensen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia (Tower) Jensen; daughter, Jill Marie Jensen, brother, Harvey Jensen and sister in law, Mary Jensen.Funeral Services for Robert will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 10: 00 a.m. with Rev. Pam Kerschner officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 4: 00 pm until 6:00 pm and on Friday from 9: 00 until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church or the American Diabetes Association have been suggested.
