Obituary

Racine- Robert F. Carls II, 72 passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Ascension All Saints.

Bob was born in Racine on April 14, 1952 to the late Robert F. and Jane L. (nee: Dorman) Carls.

He was a graduate of William Horlick High School and proudly served in the U. S. Navy until his honorable discharge.

On May 12, 1972 Bob married Theresa L. Kimberlain.

Bob was a master electrician. His work is seen all over in Racine; the North Pier Lighthouse, Illumination on the Shoop Building and countless homes and businesses throughout southeastern Wisconsin. He enjoyed trips to Disney World and road trips to Colorado, Oklahoma and Las Vegas to visit family and friends.  Bob loved to work with his hands, building and remodeling his home and helping others do the same. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends.

Bob was a very kind, creative and gentle soul. He was so easy to love and will be missed by so many. He was hardworking, loved his job and helping others.

Bob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife Terri Carls; his children Taylor (Amy) Carls, Heather (J.B.) Morales; his grandchildren Christopher, Gavin, Annica, Isabella, Natalia and Julia; his great-grandchildren Andeomeda, Adonnis and Ahsoka; and his

sister and brother-in-law Terry and (Dr.) Michael Barkett.

Bob is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Raymond and Doris Szymanski and aunt and uncle Shirley and Richard Carls.

Bob's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Ascension All Saints third floor main hospital staff, the Cancer Center staff, and family and friends for the compassionate care and concern shown to Bob. All were truly a blessing during this difficult time.

Private interment with full military honors will be held in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any veteran's organization, St. Jude's Hospital or bless someone in need.

Bob's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. This isn't goodbye; this is separation until we are all together again in Heaven.
