Robert E. "Shadow" Baker Racine – Robert E. "Shadow" Baker, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Bob was born in Waukegan, IL on July 9, 1956 to Robert G. and Pat (nee, Calloway) Baker. On February 18, 1978 he married the former Pamela Rogers, recently celebrating 32 years of marriage. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force. He had a heart of gold, his family was the most important thing in his life. He had a love for motorcycles, and his friends. Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela Baker; children, Adam Baker and Tiffany (Dan Saldana) Baker; grandchildren, Adrianna, Brayden and Emily; mother, Pat Baker; sisters, Linda Baker, Sharri Sanders and Jackie (Ed) Fehrman; and nephew, Scott. Bob is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and mother-in-law, Sandra Rogers. Bob's wish was to be cremated, all are welcome to meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials services for Bob will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Ben Johnston-Krase officiating.
