Racine – Robert E. Angel, 91, passed away at Lake County Landing in Oconomowoc on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Bob was born in Racine on January 26, 1922 to Robert and Elizabeth (nee, Murphy) Angel. He has been a lifelong Racine resident. Bob married the former Lavinia "Winnie" Roberts at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church on November 23, 1946. She preceded him in death on October 20, 2008. Survivors include his, daughter, Nancy (Ken) Janson; granddaughters, Maggy (Ron) Hribar and Emily (Dan) Pfeiffer; and great grandchildren, Joseph Robert and Jenna Angel Hribar, Alexander Martin and Kate Elizabeth Pfeiffer. Bob is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers William and Harold Angel. A memorial visitation for Bob will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 5 until 7 p.m. Inurnment will take place in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or the Purple Heart.
