Racine – Richard V. Ruffo, 86, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2010. Surviving are his wife, Jay; son, Richard and wife Diane; and grandchildren, Elena and Nicholas. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 13 from 5 until 7 p.m. Memorials to the Racine Community Foundation, Racine Art Museum or Prairie School have been suggested. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Fire Department Paramedics and the Emergency Department staff at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
