RACINE – Richard Adams "Dick" Chester, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 due to a motorcycle accident. Dick was born in New York on April 3, 1949 to Adams and Dorothy (nee, Nordquist) Chester. Dick was united in marriage to Cathy E. (nee, Woodington) Chester on April 27, 1968. He retired from Case/New Holland after more than thirty-five years. In his spare time, Dick loved going on motorcycle rides with his wife and his cousin Ed and his wife Deb. Dick also enjoyed restoring cars and D.J.ing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Chester; children, Pamela (Terry) Mitchell and Joey Chester; grandchildren, Maverick Mitchell, Maximum "Max" Mitchell and Stacy Chester. Dick has another granddaughter on the way in December 2014. He is further survived by his sisters, Marsha, Linda and Shirley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Dick will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 4 p.m. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m.
