RACINE – Rhonda Lee May, 59, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Rhonda was born in Racine on March 9, 1956 to William Dean and Betty May (nee, Knudsen) Hansen. On August 13, 1976 she married the love of her life, Cary May. Rhonda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time up north with her family, camping and swimming. She loved the rain and a good thunderstorm. She was a devout Christian and a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Cary May; children, Eric May, Kristen (Greg) Krebs, Cheryl (William) Dodson, Reva (Joseph) Acevedo, Dean May and Hannah May; grandchildren, Benjamin Wind, Kaitlyn Warren, Hunter Warren, Jacob Warren, Ezra Acevedo and Eli Acevedo; her mother, Betty Hansen; mother-in-law, Bernice May; sister-in-law, Karen May; and her furry little sidekick, her dog, Bradley. Rhonda is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Lavonne Larson. A memorial service will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa Street, Racine, Wisconsin 53403 on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
