Oak Creek – Rhoda M. Baganz, 90, passed away at Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Rhoda was born in Wauseca, MN on July 30, 1922 to Edmund and Clara (nee, Koenig) Trapp. On August 17, 1940, in Fergus Falls, MN, Rhoda married Reuben J. Baganz. Rhoda will be remembered as a loving wife who on Valentine's Day rejoined her husband 'Bud' after 72 years of marriage. She was a patient and nurturing mother to her sons and daughters-in-law and an ever affectionate grandma and 'ga-ga'. Rhoda was a skilled homemaker and in her earlier years a talented musician, remembered as a member of the Baganz Trio. Survivors include her sons, Mark (Sue) Baganz, Jerry (Pat) Baganz and Randy (Madelyn) Baganz; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Adolph and Gerald; and sister, Alethea. The family will greet relatives and friends prior to the memorial service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6700 S. Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, WI on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Racine Lutheran High School or a charity of one's choice.
