Reyes Rivera, 73, passed away at home peacefully during his sleep, on Monday, November 19, 2018. Mr. Rivera was born in El Salvador, Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico on June 26, 1945 to the late Felix and Daria Rivera. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1969 in need of supporting his family who he left behind in Mexico. He married the former Estela Estrada in 1974, celebrating 45 years of marriage. Mr. Rivera worked in the trades and moved to Wisconsin in 2001. In retirement he worked with his sons as they started their own business, R & R Construction and helped them out building a good reputation. Mr. Rivera loved spending time with his family getting together during weekends watching soccer games. He especially loved to take care of his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Estela Rivera; his children, Reyes (Lucy) Rivera, Jr., Marisela Rivera and Fernando (Adriana) Rivera; grandchildren, Valeria, Alexandro and Daniel; and his sisters and brother, Maria Dolores, Maria Guadalupe, Roselia, Maria Asuncion and Antonio. Mr. Rivera is also survived by other relatives and friends. A visitation for Mr. Rivera will be held at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass followed by interment will take place in Santa Fe Jalisco Mexico.
