October 21, 2017. Roy was born in Louisiana on July 21, 1927 to Reubin Lee and Gladys Milner. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Roy was a barber on High Street for over forty years. He married the former Marion Nime Nelson. She preceded him in death in 1988. Roy married Diane (nee, Morawski) Milner who survives him along with his son, Russell R. (N. Joanne) Milner; step-grandsons, George (DaLisa) Andersen and children Brooke (Dionisis) Cooks, Jasen (Cassie), Joseph (fianc, Saam), Benjamin, Aaron, Brieanna, Joshua; William (Jennifer) Andersen and children, Alaina, Kessia, Braden and Leigha Jo. Roy is also survived by his brother, Dick (Diana) Milner; and sisters, Bobbie Lou Edwards and LaNelle (Billy) Clausen. Funeral services for Roy will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Graceland Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the services at 1:00 p.m.
