Sturtevant - Randal D. Baganz, 65, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Randy was born in Minneapolis on January 15, 1950, to Reuben and Rhoda (nee, Trapp) Baganz. Randy was married to Madelyn (nee, Fritz) Baganz for 45 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Randy was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and lived his faith through service and leadership at Pilgrim Lutheran Milwaukee, St. Paul Lutheran Grafton, Child of Christ Lutheran, Oklahoma Avenue Lutheran, St. John Lutheran Racine, and Racine Lutheran High School. In addition to serving as a Lutheran educator and administrator, Randy enjoyed sailing, marksmanship, and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Madelyn Baganz; sons, Micah (Kathryn) Baganz, Nathan (Korie) Baganz, and Jonathan (Brandy) Baganz; grandson Abel Baganz; brothers, Mark (Sue) Baganz and Jerry (Patricia) Baganz, and brother-in-law Randy (Tana) Fritz. Randy is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Randy was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Caledonia on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 5pm - 7pm and on Saturday morning at 11am, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon. Memorials may be directed to Racine Lutheran High School and Prince of Peace Preschool and Childcare Center in Caledonia. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Stuart Wong, Ellen, Jeannine, Karen, and Jill at The Clinical Cancer Center, the medical staff on floor 4NW at Froedtert, and the staff at Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care.
