SOUTH MILWAUKEE – Pauline Blaesing, 85, passed away peacefully Friday, June 3, 2016 at Franciscan Villa in South Milwaukee. Pauline was born January 2, 1931, daughter of the late Herman and Anna Blaesing. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church where she has been a lifelong member. She worked at Lincoln Lutheran on Prospect for over 25 years. She looked forward to her birthday parties. For the past seven years, Pauline resided at Franciscan Villa where she met many new friends. She loved playing in the chime choir, looking forward to all the concerts, helping at the church services, helping Pat make cookies or decorate. She also enjoyed bingo, bunco and "Wii" bowling. Pauline is survived by her sister, Ruth Schmidt of Appleton; brother, Herman (Tootie) Blaesing; 10 nieces and nephews; nineteen great nieces and great nephews; and seven great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Blaesing; sister-in-law, Sharon Blaesing; brother-in-law, Ralph Schmidt; and great nephew, Christopher Blaesing. A private family service for Pauline will be held with Rev. Daniel Feldscher officiating. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Franciscan Villa, especially, Nicole, Pat, Todd and Julie.
