Paul R. MeissnerRacine- Paul R. Meissner, 59, passed on at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center on Thursday, August 2, 2007.Paul was born in Racine on April 24, 1948 to Wendell and Alice (nee: Flegel) Meissner. He served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist and the Geology Club. He had several other interests and was well versed in many subjects and was forever on a quest for furthering his education. Paul dedicated his life to helping others.He is survived by his mother, Alice Meissner; sister, Nancy Holman; niece, Kendra (Tony) Julius and their children Diona and Joshua; and nephew, David (Jen) Lott. Paul is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Meissner on May 25,1969.Private family services for Paul will be held. Private interment will take place with full military honors.
