Paul G. Krampitz Racine – Paul G. Krampitz, 68, passed away at home on Thursday, December 22, 2011. Paul was born in Bentheim, Germany on September 21, 1943 to Ewald and Hilda (nee, Orlofski) Krampitz. He married the former Anneliese Kumpf. Paul retired in 2009 from Video Jet Systems. He was a life member of the Rod and Gun Club in Illinois and enjoyed hunting and downhill skiing, but most of all he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Paul is survived by his wife, Anneliese Krampitz; children, Amy (Jeffrey) Hinds and Michael Paul (Kelly) Krampitz; grandchildren, Damon Paul Krampitz, Jana Hinds and Kara Hinds; and his sister, Alice Arndt. Paul is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Helmut Krampitz. Funeral services for Paul will be held at Lutheran Chapel of the Cross, 1426 Fancher Road, on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brian Liermann officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Chicago. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
