RACINE – Paul E. Kielbasa, 74, passed away at home on Sunday, January 4, 2015. Paul was born in Chicago on January 18, 1940 to Pawel and Helena (nee, Migalski) Kielbasa. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 – 63. Paul married the former Judy "Sue" Sorenson. He retired from J.I. Case Company in 1998. Paul was very active in the union. He was a member of UAW Local 180 where he served as appointed Committeeman in 1981 and later Recording Secretary. He was very active throughout the '90's in Legion 10 CAP events, assisting in bowling and golf tournaments and other activities. Paul was also a member of Racine Moose Lodge 437 where he served as both Administrator and Governor. He was very involved in youth sports and coached baseball. Paul's other activities included, golfing, bowling, fishing and anything Badgers or Packers, but most of all he loved his family and his dogs. Survivors include his wife, Judy "Sue" Kielbasa; children, Christian Keith Kielbasa, Deborah Susan Kristopeit, John (Lisa Karwowski) Kielbasa and Casimir "Casey" Kielbasa; grandchildren, Zachary Kielbasa, Nathan Kristopeit and Julia Kristopeit; his brother, Casimir (Lillian) Dolemba and his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pete and Janet Hufffman, Rodnette Sorenson and Judy Sorenson. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and his special dogs, Stoshi and Beezer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Vi Dolemba; niece, Rhonda; and nephew, Joe. A funeral service for Paul will be held at the Racine Assembly of God Church, Arline Road, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ed Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kathy Cecchini from Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for all of her compassionate care she provided to Paul.
